BARREL SHROUD
You already love your Saiga, and accessorizing it is just too much fun. I own one and even before I even took it home, I noticed the endless possibilities for accessories.
After countless of emails requesting a custom barrel shroud for this weapon, we are finally offering these aftermarket barrel shrouds for sale.
Not only does it look really good, the shroud will also protect your hand(s) from the hot barrel when handling the carbine after shooting. Weighing in at a mere 4 ounces, you will barely notice the difference in weight on your Saiga.
It literally installs in seconds with an Allen wrench which is supplied. The shroud uses two brass set screws to push against the bottom of your rifle's barrel to securely hold the shroud to the barrel. We have found that brass set-screws are better than nylon, teflon or steel set screws and more secure than a holding ring around the beveled area. The shroud has no external hooking points, thus it will not hinder your tactical movements. Obviously, the rifle in the pictures is not included. Please e-mail me if you have any specific questions about this shroud. YES, on this model we decided to install two set screws due this being a semi-automatic 12-ga that packs quite a punch.
